Staff graduationAfter 24 years of service to the Government, Senior Enforcement Officer Mrs Poveta Posa graduates with a Diploma in Public Administration at the Papuan New Guinea Institute of Public Administration (PNGIPA) on the 10th of March, 2017.
Mrs Posa was overjoyed after attaining her Diploma Certificate from PNGIPA after completing eight months of intensive studies from 28th March, 2016 to the 25th of November, 2016 at the PNGIPA and finally graduating in March of this year.
‘I am so thankful to the Management for recognising me as a potential officer to undergo this training and also thank you to my children who have supported me during my studies and above all, I am thankful to God for giving me this opportunity for this achievement in my life’, Mrs Posa said.
Mrs Posa started her employment with the Department of Communication & Information as a Key Board Operator in 1992, and then from 1996 to date, she was with the Office of Censorship and worked her way up from being the Records Officer to her current position as the Senior Enforcement Officer.
Mrs Posa was joined by her colleague Ms Eunice Kavon, who also graduated with a Diploma in Government Management from PNGIPA, which was, according to the two female officers, a boost for the Enforcement & Compliance Division.

Chief Censor Mr Steven Mala congratulated the two officers for their achievement, over a luncheon that was prepared by the management and staff of the Office of Censorship.
